These three argumentative essays are from my English 225 Writing Minor course, Academic Argumentation. Although the topics vary by paper, my argumentative techniques and incorporation of research became main elements that I learned throughout the course. Since this English Academic Argumentation class counts towards the minor in writing, I thought it was important to include these three lengthy and highly researched essays as they show my progression of developing arguments over time. Additionally, although we were allowed to choose any topic we wanted for each paper, I seem to have an overarching theme that is reflective of my interest in education, and again, gender.
